Peter turned 9 months old on Wednesday but we didn’t get to celebrate and take photos like normal because I’ve been sick all week 
Mike has Monday off so we’ll take photos then and Peter has his 9 month Dr’s appointment on Tuesday so I’ll know his official height and weight too!
He’s been up to a lot this month! He started pulling up about 3 weeks ago and acts like it’s nothing to stand up now. He’s even let go of furniture and stood on his own several times now and likes to hold on to the coffee table and couch and “walk” alongside them.
He’s showing more interest in books and likes to turn the pages but his favorite thing right now is crawling after us and following us from room to room. He also loves to chase after his ball and open and close the kitchen and bathroom cabinets (don’t worry, we’ve locked up all the chemicals!).
By far the most exciting thing he’s doing now is saying “Dadada” and “Mamama.” We’re not 100% sure that he knows what they mean, but we’re noticing a trend that he says them when we’re each gone and really starts to babble them when he sees us again.
Mike said he kept crying for “mama” when I was sick and trying to get some sleep on Tuesday. How sad! He gets upset when Mike leaves for work too and will pout and babble “dadada” over and over again until I can distract him. So it seems like he may have some idea about the words! Adorable!
Like I mentioned we don’t have official 9 month old photos yet, but there are several up at the album, including some videos of Peter crawling, giggling, babbling and swinging in his new swing outside.
