This past week has gotten away from me somehow so it’s taken a while to get Peter’s 10 month old photos up, but they’re at the album here!
Peter had a fever last weekend but seems much better now and is starting to get his third tooth. We don’t think the fever was related, but who knows!
He’s started “cruising” on furniture a lot more and can now walk behind his scooter. We’ve even got video of that up. He still loves to crawl everywhere and will chase the roomba (robot vacuum) and climb through his tunnel while crawling.
Peter’s started pointing at objects now and has become a lot more vocal. He’ll also hand you an object if you ask him to and even went out of his way tonight to go get a toy and bring it to Daddy just because Daddy asked! What a sweet little boy to share like that!
His new favorite food is goldfish and he’s learned to drink out of a sippy and hold it all by himself, which is good because he’s drinking more water now that he’s only nursing three times a day. He’s still sleeping 10 hours a night and is takes two 1.5-2 hour naps during the day and can usually fall asleep on his own in his crib pretty easily. He’s really growing up!
Tada! I’m 10 Months Old!

Happy Easter! Peter hasn’t been doing too much new since the last post but he has started standing up all on his own without holding onto anything. I think he’s getting close to walking and I’m not sure I’m ready for that!
Peter had a fun-filled weekend with Easter service and basket today and getting to ride around in his wagon at the Renaissance Festival yesterday.
We got dressed up and went with my friends Laura, Louis and Rae to Scarborough Faire on Saturday. He loved looking at all of the people in costumes and had lots of fun socializing with the other babies and toddlers we saw being pulled by in wagons and strollers of their own. You can see a couple of photos here.
It was perfect weather too and the only fussing he did was in the car – he was confused why there were people in the back seat with him!
Easter service this morning was crowded but good and Peter enjoyed the shorter time in the nursery (no Sunday School this morning). He really enjoyed getting to open his Easter basket when we got home and loved finding cheerios and goldfish in his eggs. Thanks so much to the grandparents for his little gifts and cards. That made Easter all the more special for him! View Easter photos here.

Peter went to the doctor last Tuesday and he weighed exactly 20 lbs and was 29″ long. He’s in the 37% for weight and the 67% for height – just perfect according to the doctor. They expect breastfed babies to get big at the start and then trim down, catching back up after they’re a year or so.
The appointment went great and Peter is such a trooper! No shots this time but they did have to prick his finger for routine iron tests and he LAUGHED while the nurse was doing it. We both looked at him like he crazy – silly boy!
We also went to Houston this weekend to see Grandma & Grandpa Graesser and Aunt Mel who was in town from Wisconsin with baby Katelyn. We got to see Aunt Ann & Uncle Andrew, cousins Hannah, Ellie and Benjamin and Aunt Brandy and Uncle Jason too (and their puppy Jack who licked Peter and made him giggle).
Peter had a great time playing with his cousins and we have tons of photos from the trip up. and also Peter’s 9 month photos.
My favorite though has got to be the video of Peter giggling up a storm while be plays with his ball. Go check that out at the video album!
Our big developmental news this week is that Peter’s getting teeth! He has two teeth breaking their way through as we speak. He’d been really good with the teething and has just been more tired than normal. It’s great he’s finally getting teeth because he already eats table foods and wants more than he can have! Soon he’ll be eating all the same things we do.
Peter’s 9 Month’s Old!
All the cousins! Benjamin (4 months), Ellie (2 years), Peter (9 months), Hannah (4 years) and Katelyn (8 months)
